Getting excited every week for the Math iz it! Our club has an activity wherein we give math riddles every week to be answered by the students. The answers will be written on a stub sold by the school level officers of the Calgeotrists’s society.
The Math iz it has an aim of instilling math in every CavScian not just during their math time but also exercise their analysis and critical thinking during their free time.
Every morning of Monday, Kuya
Thogie, our club president then, announced the math riddle to be solved by the
students during the flag raising ceremony. He also posted the question on the
bulletin board of the Calgeotrists’s Society. At first, everyone was excited in
solving the riddle and they keep on asking us when the stubs will be given. At
9:00 in the morning, we go to the room of Kuya Thogie to get the stubs to be
distributed to the participants. All of them were waiting hard for the stubs to
be distributed. They would ask for it every morning and we would have a hard
time answering them on when the stubs are given because we were also busy.
Although we had a hard time it was full of enjoyment. Then every Friday, we
would give the payment for the stubs. It was a difficult task since
sometimes all of the stubs won’t be bought so we need to pay for the remaining
stubs.
It was very hard continuing the Math
iz it but all our hard works paid off. Even us, the school level officers, answered
the math riddles posted. We admit that
those math riddles were hard but they were challenging.
The totality of the Math iz it was
fun and very interesting. We hope this year we will have a better and exciting
math iz it. It was a really fun experience since the students who want to have
the stubs can’t answer the math riddles and they don’t know how to solve them.
It was a really nice experience
since it made us feel again the importance of time management for we should
always find time to go to Kuya Thogie. We also learned how to be very
responsible so that we would not forget what time we should go to Kuya Thogie.Although sometimes we were irresponsible, that is why we were often scolded by Kuya Thogie. Of course, we
understood him since he just wants the activity to be successful.
